There are two very distinct options when it comes to the Celibre laser skin resurfacing program. We have ablative skin resurfacing and non-ablative skin resurfacing. Ablative skin resurfacing involves a short period (4-7 days) of healing or "social downtime" after the procedure. Non-ablative (also called no downtime) procedures typically require more procedures to see results, but do not require you to take any time off.

For non-ablative procedures that involve no downtime, our lasers work by stimulating collagen development at the molecular level. The laser energy works by "exercising" the skin, similar to how your muscles respond after working out. When heated with laser energy, the skin responds by creating microfine injuries below the surface that are then healed naturally by the body while new collagen in the process.
Laser Resurfacing Before and After Pictures
Our ablative laser resurfacing treatment, the Erbium laser micropeel, stimulates collagen as the skin is "resurfaced" or removed. This procedure involves a short "social downtime" because it involves removing the outermost layer of the skin. This causes a healing reaction that completely refinishes the skin, leaving it younger, smoother and healthier without the memory of fine lines, acne scars and surface pigmentation.
