Why should I consider Celibre laser treatments?
Celibre laser treatments are a proven way to safely and effectively treat many
cosmetic skin conditions.
How much do the treatments cost?
The cost of the treatment depends on several factors including the type and
severity of the skin condition, and the number of treatments needed for optimal
results. We will do our best to work within your budget to achieve your desired
results.
Are lasers covered by insurance?
Typically aesthetic, cosmetic (and optional) treatments are not covered by
insurance.
How many laser treatments will I need?
Most conditions require multiple treatments for optimal results. The average
range is between 2 and 8 laser treatments depending on the severity and type of
condition. Typically, treatments will take between 20-60 minutes to perform.
How often will I be treated?
This depends on the condition you have and the type of laser being used. Most
non-ablative (no downtime) laser procedures are spaced between 2 and 8 weeks
apart.
Does the Doctor do the treatments?
All treatments are done or supervised by our Physicians. Only licensed medical
professionals have been internally and externally trained perform the
treatments.
What will happen during a laser treatment?
Before you are treated, Celibre licensed medical professionals will calibrate
the lasers, ensuring proper laser power and cooling. The medical professional
will then use the patient skin type in combination with the laser technology to
determine the proper laser setting for the treatment.
Will the treatments hurt?
Treatments may have some degree of pain. Most patients describe the treatments
as similar to being snapped with a rubber band on the surface of the skin. For
those patients more sensitive to discomfort, topical anesthetics are used
before treatment for certain conditions.
What happens after a laser treatment?
This depends on the treatment type and condition. For "no downtime" procedures,
it is expected that there will be moderate redness in the treated area, but no
significant “downtime" is to be expected. You can expect to be able to return
to work or leisure immediately following the procedure. For other more invasive
procedures, downtime can last from a 2-7 days.
What topical skin care products will be used?
Our treatment of most skin conditions includes physician grade topical skin
care products, or prescriptive topical agents if needed.
What does the FDA say about laser treatments?
The FDA has approved the use of all of our lasers due to their safety and
effectiveness.
Can I treat my child with lasers?
Yes. The treatments for children are just as safe and effective as they are for
adults. If a patient is a minor, the parent or guardian needs to be available
to sign consent forms.
Are laser treatments safe for all skin types?
Yes. With over 20 lasers, we have one for every skin type and condition.
Can I be treated while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. For liability reasons, we are not able to treat you if your are pregnant or
breastfeeding.
