Celibre uses only the finest, state-of-the-art laser
skin care equipment. Our priority is your complete satisfaction,
so we have chosen only the safest, most effective lasers for the conditions
we treat. Celibre differs from other medical facilities and medispas
that use a “one size fits all" approach to laser skincare. Instead of
using the same piece of equipment to treat every skin condition, we
use a multitude of state-of-the-art lasers – each one specifically designed
to treat one particular condition. Because we focus on using the most
appropriate technology for each condition, we are able to customize
a treatment program for your specific situation and deliver outstanding
results!
To understand why a particular laser is the most effective for each specific
condition, a quick understanding of laser physics is necessary. As an example,
to be effective in treating unwanted hair, the laser used must penetrate to the
same depth as the bulb of the hair follicle so that it can target the pigment
in the root. To penetrate to the proper depth and be attracted to the correct
target (melanin in this case) the laser needs to have distinct physical
properties. Because of the different physicial properties required for the
treatment, we use different lasers for different conditions so that we can get
you the best possible results. All the lasers below were chosen by Celibre
because their unique physical characteristics match the necessary requirements
for effective treatment.

Quantel Medical Aramis
The Quantel Medical Aramis is a single wavelength (1540 nm) laser specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat active acne, acne scars, stretch marks, and wrinkles. The 1540 nm wavelength is easily absorbed by fluid in the skin, generating new collagen to create a smoother, more even skin tone and texture. The depth of penetration is ideal for shrinking the oil-producing sebaceous gland, one of the main causes of acne.
Palomar Q Yag 5
The Palomar Q Yag 5 is a dual wavelength (1064, 532 nm) "q-switched" laser specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat age spots, tattoos, birth marks and other pigmented lesions. Both wavelengths target melanin in the skin, but at different levels, providing greater flexibility in treating all skin types and all pigments regardless of the depth in the skin.
Sciton Profile
The Sciton Profile laser is a dual 1064 and 2940 nm laser. It is one of the newest, fastest and most advanced lasers in the world. With the two flexible wavelengths, it’s used to safely and effectively treat laser hair removal for all skin types, spider veins in all skin types and laser resurfacing for wrinkle reduction. It’s FDA approved for all these procedures. See the Top Hair Removal Laser.
Cynosure V-Star
The Cynosure V-Star is one of the most advanced pulse dye lasers available. Its 585 nm wavelength is specifically designed and FDA approved to treat vascular conditions such as Rosacea, stretch marks, spider veins and port wine stains. It is readily absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood, eliminating the redness associated with these vascular conditions.
Laserscope Lyra-i
The Laserscope Lyra-i is a single wavelength (1064 nm) laser specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat spider veins and unwanted hair.
Lumenis Lightsheer
The Lumenis Lightsheer is a single wavelength (810 nm) laser specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat unwanted hair. It is the gold standard for laser hair removal in light skinned patients and is used the world over. It prevents future hair growth by targeting the melanin at the base of the hair follicle. The heating of the melanin in the follicle causes damage to the blood vessel that feeds the hair, which leads to the elimination of the hair.
EU Photonix NLite
The EU Photonics NLite is a single wavelength (585 nm) laser specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat vascular lesions, wrinkles, stretch marks and acne. The 585 nm wavelength is easily absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood, eliminating facial redness associated with Rosacea and port wine stains. The versatile 585 nm laser is also FDA approved for wrinkle and acne treatments. It generates new collagen growth that eliminates wrinkles and kills the p.acne bacteria that causes acne.
Hoya Conbio Medlite C6
The Medlite C6 is a dual wavelength (1064 nm and 532 nm) "q-switched" laser specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat tattoos and other colored lesions such as freckles, birthmarks and vascular malformations (port wine stains). The wavelengths are easily absorbed by melanin (pigment) and hemoglobin (blood) in the skin. When the pigment in the tattoos, freckles and blood absorb the energy from the laser, the tissue containing the color is destroyed and new tissue is regenerated to match the tone and texture of the surrounding skin.
Dusa Blu-U
The Dusa Pharmaceuticals Blu-U bluelight device is a short span wavelength (405 - 420 nm) high intensity light specifically designed and FDA-approved to treat acne. This wavelength is used to kill acne bacteria. It is also used to shrink overactive sebaceous glands when used in combination with aminolevulinic acid. This procedure is called photodynamic therapy and is the most aggressive acne program that we have at Celibre.
